Provenance:
observed— transcribed from screenshots of a running autoSTRADA instance, 2026-09-06, supplied by David Brown. This is navigation only: menu labels and structure. No screen contents, no behavior, no permission model. Observed does not mean verified — see Source classes.
A dealer lands on the Management Dashboard. The dashboard is not the whole admin surface — it is one of nine sections in the top bar, and it carries its own nine-view tab strip inside it.
The default view is News / Information: a news panel carrying a promotional CTA image, with hosting status widgets in the left sidebar.
| Section | Contains |
|---|---|
| (home icon) | Unlabelled. Not observed |
| Dashboard | The nine dashboard views — see below |
| Inventory | Vehicle and location management, imports and exports |
| Services | Dealer-site content and customer-facing tools |
| Reports | Two inventory reports |
| Pages | Dealer-site page editing, testimonials, user management |
| Leads | Twelve lead queues |
| Command Center | Settings and diagnostics |
| ADMIN | Not observed. Contents unknown |
Also in the top bar, unlabelled and not observed: a search control, a pencil, a gear, a warning triangle carrying a numeric badge, a blank square, and the signed-in user's name.
Nine views, available both as a tab strip on the dashboard and as the Dashboard dropdown:
Tab strip and dropdown carry identical items in identical order, with one label variance: the tab reads Inventory Overlay, the dropdown reads Overlay.
That bare Overlay matters. The word also names an unrelated internal concept, and the UI here uses it unqualified. A dealer saying "overlay" means this feature — the vehicle-image graphic. See Overlay.
Two widgets observed on the News / Information view:
nissan.vehiclesnetwork.com. See Architecture. Two reports only, both inventory. Website Traffic sits under Dashboard rather than here.
Testimonials occupy three of the eight entries. User Management implies a role model for a dealer's own sub-users that is otherwise unobserved.
An All view plus eleven named lead queues:
Leads are typed by the form that produced them, and each form gets its own queue. Choke Page as a lead type is the Lead Generation Popup — the gate a dealer can place over inventory, the blog, or any chosen page.
Employment Apps sits in the lead system rather than under Pages or Services, so job applications land in the same pipeline as vehicle enquiries.
The menu offers a Go To, not a view: Command Center is a destination of its own rather than a panel inside the admin. Functionally it is the per-instance settings and diagnostics store — roughly analogous to the Windows Registry — and it is where support directs a dealer during a walkthrough. It is not a feature to be pitched, and a dealer should not generally be sent into it unaccompanied.
Alerting appears in at least two places: Dashboard › Site Alerts and Command Center › Check Alerts, plus possibly a third in the badged warning triangle in the top bar. Whether these are one alert store with several views or separate systems is unknown.
The first instance in this corpus of marketing claims being checked against the software. Each of these was previously site copy only:
| Claim on the product page | Observed at |
|---|---|
| Window stickers | Services › Window Stickers |
| Seasonal vehicle overlays | Dashboard › Inventory Overlay |
| Imports from DMS / auction / accounting | Inventory › Manage Automated Imports & Exports |
| "Sell My Auto" trade-in system | Leads › Sell Your Auto |
| Credit check integration | Leads › Credit Applications |
| Multi-location management | Inventory › Manage Locations |
Corroboration here means a menu item with a matching name exists. None of these has been observed working.
Label variances worth carrying as aliases. The product page says Sell My Auto; the UI says Sell Your Auto. The product page describes a "popup modal for lead capture"; the UI and the industry both say Choke Page, and the code says Lead Generation Popup. A customer using any of those three names needs the same answer.
Carfax was not observed in any top-level menu. Weak evidence on D-2, and it does not resolve it — this material is navigation only, and Carfax could sit inside Vehicle Details or under the unobserved ADMIN section.
No DMS-branded surface was observed. Multi-location appears as a plain Inventory › Manage Locations. This leans toward microDMS being a location manager with a DMS-adjacent name rather than a DMS in the industry sense, but it is inference from an absence and settles nothing.
The observed instance renders its site title as "AutoStrada Sam Test". That is a dealer-entered site-name string on a test instance, not a wordmark, and does not bear on the canonical form autoSTRADA settled in D-4.
_EN suffix (HOME_EN, TESTIMONIALS_EN) indicate multi-language page support, or is it a test-instance artefact?
